Stella was born 05/27/2011 @ 6:11 am…. I have to share the story of how lil Stella arrived...I had posted on facebook around 2 am that I wanted the contractions to either speed up or go away because I was exhausted...I went upstairs & layed down & tried to go to sleep..didn't work out...So then I started timing the contractions...they averaged 8-10 mins apart..Well I called St. Lukes & spoke to a Nurse (Molly) around 3:40 to basically just get an opinion on if I should head to the hospital to get checked out...She said she thought it was a good idea & to call my doctor before heading in...Next phone call was made to my doctors office...shortly after....she called me back...& told me if you can't sleep thru your contractions you need to go in...she said I could take my time...I woke Todd up & told him we needed to go to the hospital...He asked if he could take a quick shower I said sure...He didn't take too long...then we grabbed our bags that were ready & loaded the car...Todd was dinkin around in the garage...picking up Tools...I told him we needed to go & that could wait....we woke up Kason & left...My contractions really picked up during the drive...I remember having one near the Costco in Nampa...getting on the freeway at the Costco/Target exit...Garrity Exit...before Wahooz...Eagle exit...the light being red @ the Eagle exit & Todd saying turn green turn green...hahaha...I told him he had no idea how much pain I was in...he agreed...another as we were parking...another as we went up the elevator...then I told the lady @ the desk I needed to get checked because I thought I was in labor...I had to sign some papers...it took a few mins to get me back...I used the restroom...then the nurse hooked me up to the monitor....Todd & Kason left the room so she could check me...I didn't know what to think when she looked at me & her facial expression showed she was in shock...She said Well your dialated to a 9...your going to have your daughter very very soon...She stepped out of the room & told Todd to come back in...She left quickly...I guess to get a room ready...Another nurse came in...I started crying...I think I was in shock...scared...I had showed up with the mind set that I was going to get sent home not have a baby shortly after arriving...I asked them to call my doctor right away...they said if she was home there was no way she would make it in time...thankfully she was @ her office...which was only 15 mins away & she was on her way....I called my friend Ali told her I was at the hospital...dialated to a 9...& she quickly said I am leaving now & was off the phone...They wheeled me to a delivery room...My doctor showed up not too long after we got settled in the room...Todd made a few quick calls & I was texting as many people as I could (while having really bad contractions) The nurses were in complete shock that I was able to talk let alone text...I remembered we left the camera in the car so Todd ran to the car really quick to grab it...He got back to the room....My doctor checked me...I was at a 10...she broke my water...And then they told me I needed to push on my next contraction...Well my next contraction came quite quickly and I got ready to push...felt the pressure & said I can't do it...Ali said something like "Krystal within a few pushes Stella is going to be here....I did it I know you can"...Three pushes later Stella was here...I won't say it was easy...or that it didn't hurt...I will say that if I had had the option to get the epidural I probably would have...but given the circumstances it worked out that I got to experience a "Natural Birth"!! We arrived at the hospital at 5:10 & lil Stella arrived at 6:11! The nurses joked that if Todd had taken a longer shower he might have been delivering Stella on the side of the freeway!! Were doing great...home...enjoying our family...Thanks to Ali we have beautiful pictures of Stellas birth...Todd decided not to hold a leg this time...I think it had some to do with the amount of pain I was in...he stayed by my head... :) Ali held my left leg & the nurse I spoke to earlier Molly held my right...It was a beautiful experience...although I won't be sharing any of the pictures that have me in them during the birth because I look angry in every single one...it was because of the pain...hahahha...Stella has a full head of dark hair!! Guess I was right about the heartburn after all... :) She was 6 lbs 2.8 oz & 19 1/2 in long...her head circumference was 13 in...We were released today just before 7...She has jaundice & will be using a biliblanket until her numbers say otherwise...Her last weigh in she was 5 lbs 12 oz...She is tiny & feisty!! Our family is complete...Thank you to all of our friends & family...we couldn't be happier!!

A proud Auntie updating for Todd and Krystal! Stella Rielle was born this morning at 6:11am she is 6 lbs 3 oz and 19.5 inches long. She is adorable and everyone is very much in love with her. Mommy and baby are doing wonderfully. I will let her tell you all the details but here are some photos until that happens!

Well things have been a little busy around our house..... Were eliminating our computer room...moving it to a somewhat large storage closet/room under our stairs & turning the computer room into Kason's new room!! Why are we doing this?? Oh yea because we are also changing Kason's "nursery" into Stella's new room!! Out with the tan & green walls!! They are going to be light pink!! We picked up a nice log bed & pine dresser off Craigslist for Kason...We already have all of Kasons room decor & bedding...we just need to get to work & get it all finished up before Stella arrives!! I don't know that Stella's room will be done by then but we will sure try to have it ready...It's not like she is going to be sleeping in there right away...it could be years!! j/k hehe Were going with a Black & White Damask with light pink accent for Stella's room...It is going to look amazing with all the Black nursery furniture!!! Eventually I want to find a beautiful black chandelier to put in her room in place of the existing light fixture!! :) Nothing fancy just a small elegant one!! My friend Ashley is making a custom crib bedding set for Stella...I can't wait till until it is all together & done!! At my last OB Appt. (31 wks) I had only gained 1 lb! That was a relief b/c at my previous one (27 wks) I had gained 9 lbs!!! Well come to find out that my iron came back super low!! Makes sense now because I was drinking caffeinated soda like a fish because I was exhausted 24/7!! Well in return it was all empty calories that didn't look so great on the scale!!! I have changed my beverage choice to water & I was prescribed iron pills!! :) Stella's heart rate is always right around 158..I will be 32 wks on Wed..(3 days) & according to www.babycenter.com Stella will be right around 3.75 lbs & 16.7 inches long!! I am finally to the point where Stella will be gaining approx. 1/2 a lb a week until she is born!! It is a little nerve racking knowing that she is going to be here in about 7 wks & we have a lot to do!! My Baby Shower is May 7th @ my Aunt Marsha's house here in Middleton...I can't wait to get to that point... because then its down to only 4 wks!! Kason is very excited to be a big brother...although I don't think he understands everything that is happening I know he understands some...he kisses my belly & says he loves his little sister...I don't know that he will feel that some way in the first couple weeks after she is born!! It is going to be quite an adjustment for our lil boy!! He is used to always having our full attention...but I know he will adjust & be a wonderful helpful big brother!! He is already the most amazing little boy!! The other night after we watched Monsters Inc. (which Kason loved!!!) Todd got up to brush his teeth & get ready for bed...etc. I was already half asleep & tired lil Kason tried to follow Daddy off the bed...he fell off hit his head on the sharp corner of our nightstand & ended up with his first real scare Mommy & Daddy injury!! Thank goodness the corner missed his eye!! He hit right to the right of it & it bled for what seemed like forever!! He looks much better now...We got the bleeding under control & put a butterfly stich on him.. He was a real big boy the whole time...didn't even try to remove his bandage!! He does really like kisses though...so for a couple of days he would ask for kisses on his Owie!! We ordered Kason a Powerwheel Jeep recently & it should be here any day...he is really excited to drive his Jeep! We are really excited for warm weather so we can enjoy our beautiful backyard that Todd worked really hard on last summer. Well that is it for now...I am out of updates! Kason turned 2 on Fri. Dec. 3rd. I can't believe he

is already two years old!! Where does time go?

He is such a sweet lil boy! We love him sooo much!!

He is going to be such a wonderful big brother!! He

had a fun filled Birthday Party last night! I would like

to Thank everyone that was able to make it.

My Dad, sister, & grandparents were not able to make

it due to the snow!! I will upload pics soon...I

haven't uploaded them to the computer yet.

He was spoiled present wise...And loved everyone single

one!! Especially the shot gun my Aunt Marsha &

Uncle Daryl got him!! It makes sounds & you can load it!!

My long-time friend Jen got him a keyboard

that has a stool...he loves it too!! There are too

We had our second ultrasound on 12/2. Todd was able

to go with us. He really enjoyed seeing our baby.

Kason really enjoyed the ultrasound too!!

I find it simply amazing at how developed a baby

is at 13 wks. We enjoyed watching our baby

move a lot & put its hands/fingers near or in

its mouth...it was really special...My Aunt

Marsha was able to go with us & share the

experience...I can't wait till our next ultrasound

Jan. 20th. That is when we find out if were

having a boy or girl! I have never enjoyed

surprises!

It has been a while since I updated our blog. I guess

now is as good a time as any! Kason is going to be

two on friday...wow I can't believe our little boy

is going to be TWO!! His party is on Saturday.

Were doing a Sock Monkey theme party. He is

talking up a storm, has been for a long time. I

do have a hard time understanding some things

he says. I guess that is pretty typical for his age.

His favorite movie is Everyone's Hero. Although

Kung Fu Panda comes in 2nd! He loves spending

time with his grandparents. He loves snow! He

loves anything that involves going outside!

He loves when we read him books.

He takes 3 hour long naps every day!!

He has wonderful manners & is a cuddle bug!

He still sleeps with us! I know what your

thinking...however with our split level home

it is so hard to have him sleep in his room

downstairs all alone...However now that we

are going to be adding to our family we are

going to have to figure out a solution quick!!

We are due June 13th 2011 & are sooo

excited!! We won't find out the sex of the baby

until January...but we will for sure not keep

it a secret!! I have never been good @ keeping

secrets anyways!! I am still working @ the bank.

Just reached my 5 yrs this month. Todd is

still self-employed doing Masonry. He is

also building the most amazing dog houses on

the side. Kason is going to be such a good

big brother. He will be 2 1/2 when the baby

is born. My sister-in-law Shanna is due one

day after me...and my very good friend

Carrie is due a few weeks before me. I

know at least 13 people that are due

right around the time I am....it must be

in the water!! I have two cousins & a

sister that are expecting! Children are

a blessing...& we feel very blessed!!

Thanksgiving at Todds parents. I have an

Time to catch up....

I know I have been a really bad blogger...Kason is going

to be 21 months on Sept. 3rd!! Wow has time flown by!!

My lil boy is no longer a lil boy...He is a toddler! He

talks A LOT...maybe more than most 21 month old...I am

not sure?? He loves Baseball...Let me repeat...HE LOVES
BASEBALL!!! His favorite movie is Everyone's Hero....

He runs around the house non-stop with a baseball

in both hands...He has a pretty good swing too!

He even sits through games with Daddy...& watches!!

We have had a pretty fun/busy summer. We went

to the Oregon Coast...Kason's first trip to the ocean...

we had a BLAST!! We went shopping @ an outlet mall,

to the Portland Zoo, Eugene Emeralds game (against the

Boise Hawks), Oregon Coast Aquarium, ate @ Mo's a lot,

stayed in some great hotels, my favorite was the Coho

Oceanfront Lodge in Lincoln City!! My cousin Amanda

& I got to go to the Lilith Fair @ the Gorge...

Can't even describe how much fun we both had!!

We have gone to the zoo a few times..had play dates @

cousins homes & parks...attended B~day parties...

10 yr class reunion..My G~parents celebrated 61 yrs

of marriage...My cousin Lara had a baby girl,

one of my good friends is due right after Kason (Andrea)

& another is due on my bday Oct. 1st (Jini)...

both having girls...Todd completely re-landscaped our

backyard & built a covered patio!! It is AWESOME!!!

Todd is getting ready to go Elk hunting with his brother

Tom for a week!! I hope I can remember to take the

trash out & make sure the yard & dogs don't starve!!

I also have to pick up dog poo!! yuk!!

I didn't sign up for that duty!! But it's only for a week!!

Maybe I can wean Kason from his binky while Daddy

is gone hunting...I got transferred to another branch on

April 1st...It wasn't voluntary but it has been a

good change...I still only work 20 hrs a week/3 days

a week...I wish we were closed on Sat. though!!

I got braces in Jan...not sure if I posted that before...

they are going great!! My teeth are looking amazing!!

I can't wait till they come off & I have perfect teeth!!

Keaton starts school this week...& in 2 yrs. Kason will

start pre-school too!! Hopefully we have another

lil one by then!!

Well I found out at work today that I will be transferring

to another branch. Our branch is overstaffed & the

branch I am moving to is understaffed...It is not a

permanent transfer-as soon as something opens up

closer to home I will have a chance to transfer. It is

an exciting change...but with all changes there is

nervousness...I am very comfortable at the branch I

work at now...I have been there for over 3 years...in

November I will reach my 5 year mark with Chase!

Hard to believe it has almost been 5 years already! The

change is effective 04/01 so not much notice! I am a

part time employee so I will only be working 3 days

a week...my new manager told me I would only

be working a Saturday every 3 weeks so that is nice!

I am used to working 2 a month right now! The only

downfall I can think of is that it is about 5 miles past my

current location...hopefully something will open up in

Nampa or Caldwell before the end of the year! I also

realized that Kason actually has 4 teeth coming in right

now...it is sooo hard to tell how many are coming in

until they break through...no wonder he has been sooo

cranky lately...I bought a tanning bed this past

weekend! I am so excited to have one of my own! I

can't wait to show off my soon tan! I am still working

on weening Kason & getting him to sleep through the

night in his OWN bed! Wish me luck...anyone have

any advice?

Kason 15 Months Cont.

Kason had his 15 Month check up yesterday. We had

to postpone it due to him getting RSV towards the

end of February. So he was actually 15 Months 2

weeks at his appointment. When his doctor asked

if he was saying more than four words he must

have understood her because he started showing

off and talking to her...it was really cute...He is very

fond of his pediatrician...He gave her hugs and kisses

when his appointment was done...It was very cute!!

Our little boy is absolutely perfect when it comes to

his %tiles....He measured in @ 33 1/4 " which is

95.78%tile for length & he was 23.6 lbs which is

36.96 %tile for weight. We already knew he have

a tall lanky lil boy...Doctor says he is growing just

fine...She also checked the knots on his neck and

says they are still okay...some kids get them others

don't...I have to admit I wish he didn't have them

because they make me nervous....Some new things:

Kason says; Love You, One, Two , Three, Basket

Ball, All Gone, All Done...He has been signing

Please, More, All Done, Hat, Eat, & is also saying

all those words too!! He can pretty much say

anything he hears...Our lil boy is really no longer

a lil boy...he is growing up so quick...Here are

so lucky to have such a talented photographer

in the family!! Kason just adores his Auntie!!

I can hardly believe our lil Monkey is 15 months old

today! Wow how time has just flown by! Kason is doing

much better & is fully recovered from the RSV. Daddy

got home tonight from working in Oregon & is done

with that job. Next job is in Council. Which is much

closer than Boardman, OR!! I noticed today that Kason

has 2 more teeth coming in on the top. They already

broke skin. So pretty soon he will have 9 teeth! We

went grocery shopping tonight & Kason said HI to

pretty much everyone we passed by. One person

said he looks too young to be talking so well!! He

does talk A LOT...probably gets it from me.. :)

Right now his favorite snack is Goldfish...He just

loves them!! He literally cried when I threw the

empty box away...of course we had another

to replace it he just didn't know that!! I will

update the blog again with his %tiles after

his 15 month appt. which I believe is on 3/17!

We had to postpone the appt. a few weeks

just to make sure the RSV wouldn't cause

any complications with the immunizations..

Lil Monkey is sick...

Kason came down with a fever on 2/21 . Took him

to the doctor after work on 2/22. Results came

back as RSV. We are on day 6 & I can tell he is

definitely improving! He still has a really bad cough,

but for now no fever! His fever was 104 when he

woke up on 1/24...gave me a pretty good scare!

On a better note...Kason is pretty much repeating

everything & anythings he hears these days...I can't

believe how big our lil boy is!! He will be 15 mos. in

5 short days...Daddy has been working out of town in

Eastern Oregon for just over a month now...He

comes home on the weekends...which is mostly

spent catching up on rest & then packing up to

head back....so we really can't wait for him to be

home from that job for good...He says he should

be done by middle of next week...Daddy is going

to be home tonight!! Kason kisses the phone when

he talks to daddy...It is very very cute! I love the

special bond they share!! Kyla is going to take

pictures of Kason next month so I will update

the blog with some pictures soon! I haven't been

taking as many as I used too...I need to get back at

that too! Well keep ya posted!

Happy Valentine's Day to my wonderful hubby &

Monkey!!! Today is Kason's 2nd Valentines Day...

We had a wonderful day...Daddy took us out to

lunch @ Casa Mexico-My favorite place close to

home to eat at...Then we just relaxed at home with

Kason and enjoyed the day....Daddy has been

working out of town for the past few weeks & has a

few more weeks to go...So it is very nice to just

spend time with him while he is home...My Auntie

Marsha & Uncle Daryl are going to be here tomorrow

evening to visit for a week. My cousin Lara is

expecting her first child & finds out what she

is having on Tuesday. We are all very excited to

find out!! Kason is growing up so quickly it is hard

to keep up with all the updates!! He smiles & laughs

all the time...he is such a happy lil boy...which

in return makes us very happy parents!! Funny

how that works!! He is fixated on saying Thank you...

& is signing hat, please, all done, more, & eat on a

regular basis....He says sooo many words now it is hard

to keep track...We literally have a little jabber mouth

on our hands!! Yesterday Kyla, Shanna & myself went

shopping all day (with out the kids) it was very fun &

relaxing!! Especially the Antique World Mall....I just

love that place!! Thank you to the wonderful Daddies for

making that possible!! Oh a little update~ I am now

working ONLY 20 hours a week!! I have looked

forward to working part~time for sooo long!!

Now I can spend more time @ home with

my lil monkey!! I will try to update the blog

more often then I have been....especially now

that I am not working as much!!

A very busy January!!

I apologize for taking over a month to update our Blog...

We have had a very busy January though!! Kason is a

very very big boy!!! He is walking like a pro!! He runs

if there is something important he is after..like a ball!!

He says Thank You, blows kisses, throws everything &

anything and says Uh-Oh shortly after...He also wants

to feed himself & is pretty good with a fork & spoon!!

He doesn't like juice...never has...I guess that is a good

thing-I don't have to worry about him getting too much

sugar-He just loves water, milk & nursing!! I have to

wean him soon...for him & me both!! I want independence

& he needs to fall asleep with out having to be nursed to

sleep. Any one have any suggestions that will help me

wean him?? Kason just got over being sick..We are pretty

sure it was Roseola...He ran a fever for 5 days then broke

out in a rash..His fever got up to 103.7 which scared me!

Thank goodness for Tylenol & Ibu! If it was Roseola it is

kinda weird because he had Roseola once before and it

is said that it is rare to get it more than once...but that

it can happen...so I really don't know for sure if that is

what he had...but the good news is he is 100% better!!

We were fortunate enough to go to the Fiesta Bowl in

Arizona earlier this month. We met Benji, Kyla & the kids

& Kyla's family there...We had a wonderful time...It was

a fun drive (all 16 hours/2 days of it)!!! We got to see

Hoover Dam under construction!! We also drove through

Las Vegas on the way home...nothing special if you ask me!

We stopped for lunch in Vegas & on our way out to the car

we witnessed a near shoot out between cops & some really

mean looking guys in the middle of an intersection...so we

decided we would go back inside until it was safe to leave!!

I got to go shopping @ two different outlet malls...One in

Arizona & the other in Utah...it was fun as always!! Kason

did wonderful on the trip...He was only 13 mos when we

went & he really did great!! The portable DVD player

helped a ton!! Daddy gave Kason a bath tonight & Kason

pooped in the tub...This is the first & hopefully the last time

it ever happens!! I can't wait to tell him when he is a

teenager!! Hobby Lobby opens tomorrow. Kyla & I

are going to go check it out! I am sure we will have a fun

time! I can't think of anything else to add other

than I will try to be a more avid blogger!!

We got home Thursday afternoon from Arizona.

We took 2 days to get there, stayed for two days

then two days to get home...Yea for BSU!!!

We had a wonderful time & miss the beautiful

weather!! The Fiesta Bowl was a lot of fun!

Kason did great & had a blast! Kason is a great

traveler!! When he wasn't sleeping he was

entertaining himself or watching movies...He

didn't fuss or complain about being in his

car seat for 2 full days!! He is just amazing!!

We are happy to be home!! We just bought a

Wii yesterday...it is fun! Mommy holds the

record in Baseball so far! I will update how

the Wii Fit Plus works out for me..I hope it

is as good as I hear!! My New Years

resolution is to get fit & be healthy!!

Okay so I am really behind in the blogging world!

I don't really remember where I left off so here is

what is new in our world. Kason is practically

running! He babbles a lot! He has quite a vocabulary

too! He says Stinky, Dog, Ball, Mom, Mama, Dada,

Dad, Grandpa, Ma, Yea, Vroom, Hi, Bye Bye, waves,

signs all done, signs please, & probably more

things I can't think of right now! It is amazing how

quickly they grow & learn! He has been doing this

silly thing with his hand in front of his mouth &

makes an Indian wawawawawa sound...It is very

cute!! He is always smiling & happy as can be!

Which means our next baby will probably not be as

happy go lucky as him! We couldn't be that lucky

could we?? I think Kason needs a little brother or

sister....either will do just fine...I will keep you

posted on our luck!! Happy Holidays from our family

to yours!! We are headed to Arizona for the

Fiesta Bowl on 1/2/10 & cant wait!!!

Kason's Owl Birthday Party!!

Well here are some pictures from Kason's

Birthday Party. The party was a blast! He

had a lot of fun playing with all the kids!

He got a little bit more into the smash cake

but still is not a fan of cake! He started

opening his presents on his own. So we

decided to let him go on ahead and open

them...it was cute!! He loved his presents!

He learned the word Balloon...he says it very

cute! It sounds kinda like Bawoon...He

also is saying Ball a lot...He loves Balls!! He has

really caught on to walking...& is not crawling

much at all anymore...I have always been

so excited for every milestone..but now I am

ready for you to slow down so Mama & Dada

can just enjoy you!! We love you soooo much!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Today you are ONE!! I can't believe that an entire

year has passed since you were born. We went to

the doctor for your 1 year check up today and found

out that you don't weigh 22 lbs. When we took you

to the doctor on 11-23-09

(because you were sick with a bug of some sort)

they weighed you with your clothes on & standing

up like a big boy- that must have been the reason

it was off....you actually weigh in at 20.5 lbs which

is 17.29 %tile, you measure 30.5 inches long which is

74.3 %tile & your head circumference is 18.75 in.

which is 83.91 %tile...so basically you are long,

lean, & very very smart!! Your Daddy & I love

you VERY VERY much!!! Speaking of your Daddy,

he is out of town working in Utah & misses you

terribly...he wishes he could be home with you

on your very first Birthday...When Daddy called

to talk to you tonight you were so excited to

hear his voice...you love him sooo much!!

When Daddy gets home next week he is

going to do something extra special for you

to make up for missing your Birthday & Party!

I can't wait to see what he has planned!

You are in bed sleeping right now...which is

a good thing because it is almost midnight..

Grandma is going to be here early in the

morning to help us get ready for your party!

She is even going to stay the night with us!

I can't believe in just 3 days our little guy
is going to be ONE! We are so Thankful
to have such a wonderful little boy! He has
grown & changed so much in the past year.
It doesn't seem like his face has changed
much though...He still looks sooo much like
his handsome Daddy! Kason's Birthday party
is going to be on Dec. 5th @ our home....

Kason was 22 lbs on Tuesday 11-23-09.

His 1 year appt. is on his B-day...12-03

I will update his %-tiles then! People

keep telling me his is tall...so I can't

wait to hear what his pediatrician has to say!

I can't wait for his Owl Party...even though

he won't remember it...I sure will!!!

Auntie Kyla took Kason's 11 month pictures yesterday

@ her studio. They turned out AMAZING as always!!

Kason's Birthday Party is going to be an OWL theme...

We are planning his party on 12/5 @ 5 pm @ our nest!

We are going to serve Pizza, snacks, & of course CAKE!

I will get his invitations out soon...I am still a little

baffled that he is almost one! Where did the last year

go?? A few updates...Kason is taking a few steps a lot

more often than he has before...He said NO today...I

think he repeated it after me...I don't think it is the first

time & know it won't be the last...He loves playing with

the punch balloon Justin & Jill gave Kason @ Mavericks

B-day party...Todd said he played with it for an entire

hour today with out breaking his concentration...that is

a very big deal...considering his attention span is usually

I almost forgot to mention Kason slept in

his crib last night from 10:45 pm to 5:15 am!

It is only the second night he has slept in his

crib...so far so good! The first night he slept

from 8:30 to 1:00ish...We will see how he

does tonight.. Nite!

11 Months!!

Kason today you are 11 months old! We can

hardly believe that 11 months have passed since

the day we were blessed with you!! You are such a

BIG BOY....not to mention absolutely adorable!!

It is kinda crazy how often complete strangers

tell me how cute you are....no matter where we are..

you always seem to catch peoples attention!! We love

your smile...your laugh...how you are always happy...

we love that you are finally sleeping in your crib..

(We miss our little snuggle bug though!!!)

Well its about time we updated the Blog!
Our home is germ free & Kason is finally

eating normal again! This weekend Kason

reached a few milestones...He has officially

taken a few steps...on a couple separate

occasions! He claps non-stop! He said

Grandpa today (to his Gpa Sorenson)

...a few times...then continued to say

Pa Pa Pa...He waves and says Bye Bye!

Our little boy is just not so little anymore!

5 grand kids under 3 (well Keaton just

turned 3) to all look @ the camera &

smile...But we survived & it was

Under the Weather...

Our poor little monkey has the flu. This

is the first time he has gotten the flu.

We are really glad he is almost 1 & no

longer feels like a baby! It is really heart

breaking to see your child sick & there is

nothing you can do but comfort & love on

them! I thought he had thrown up a time

or two before, but now I know that was

just a lot of spit up because you know

when your child throws up! Right after

I grabbed a bowl for him he had a

blow out too! I haven't had to scrub

pj's & change one of those since before

he started eating baby food! Don't miss

it much either!! I just want my little

Monkey to start feeling better soon!!

On a better note...he is now saying Dog

& YEAH!!! He pretty much screams Yeah!

He said Dog for the first time yesterday.

My cousin Amanda's daughter Mikayla

was playing with him & she said Dog

& he repeated her...he surprised her

so much she said "Kason did you just

say Dog?" He replied with YEAH!!

It was sooo cute!! He has been saying

Yeah for a couple weeks...So all together

he says Momma, Dada, Dog, & Yeah.

Weekend Getaway...

We went to Cascade for the weekend &
stayed in a lovely cabin by the lake. We
had a wonderful time & wish it had not
gone by so quickly...Kason had lots of
fun playing with new toys and crawling
around an unknown place filled with
surprises & wonders. I made pancakes
while listening to Frank Sinatra on a
record player...I really wish we had a
record player @ home...Todd worked
while Kason & I spent some quality
time together...Todd is laying stone &
putting stucco on an exterior wall for
the couple that own the cabin..It is
really looking lovely too! My husband
is the best Mason around!! I will post
pictures tomorrow after I get a chance
to upload them...right now its bath time
for little guy..nite nite

As for these boots...I have been drooling over

them for about a week..I am trying to convince

my husband they are the perfect birthday gift

but that ruins the surprise...so someday I will

own a pair like these lovies above...you can

Camping over Labor Day Weekend in Unity, OR.

We went camping over Labor Day Weekend

in Unity, OR with my cousin Amanda, Marc

(Amandas boyfriend), & Mikayla (Amandas

daughter). My Aunt Sandy, cousin Kelsey,

Garrett, & his girlfriend Kayla came up for

the day to hang out and ride 4-wheelers.

It was a lot of fun & surprisingly we didn't

have neighbors on either side of our

campsite...which made it really nice & quiet!

We camped Sunday night & came home

Monday...Can't wait for our next camping

trip!! This was Kason's very 1st camping

trip & he also had lots of fun!! He didn't

sleep well but he had fun!!

9 Month Appointment

Kason had his 9 mos. appt yesterday 8/31/09. He

weighed 18 lbs 6 oz (16.93 %tile) & is 28" long

(43.13 %tile). So we basically have a long & lean

little boy! He did great getting his blood drawn.

Didn't even cry! He is growing so much everyday!

He actually has quite a bit of hair now too! His 1st

Birthday is fast approaching & we need to figure out

what we are going to do...I don't want it to be too

much and overwhelm him....We are contemplating

what kind of a theme to go with......Oh Kason

Mommy & Daddy are going to throw you a

Fabulous 1st Birthday party...We love you Monkey!

We got home today from Texas..Kason did awesome

there and back! If only Mommy had a few extra

hands for the carry-on, stroller, diaper bag &

Kason...haha next time Daddy is coming with us!

We had fun..spent much needed time with Gpa &

Gma Lavy (my grandparents) & now we are home

enjoying time with Daddy! Kason missed his Daddy

so much...as we were landing in Boise Kason started

saying Dadda Dadda...he couldn't wait to be swept up

and loved on by his Dad! I will upload some pictures

once we get settled in.

Yesterday when I got home from work Daddy

told me that under very close supervision he

let Kason climb all the way up our Stairs!!

Wow I was surprised! Not that I didn't think

he could do it...more that I was hoping it

would be a little while before he was curious

about climbing them...We are going to go get

another child gate to go at the bottom of the

stairs...that way our little monkey won't have

any near future spills down! Kason you are

growing so quickly...We love you our little

Monkey!

Daddy noticed today that Kason has 5 teeth!

Yep its official...he has another tooth on the

top right...Our little boy is just not so little

anymore! Also he stood up for about 3-4

seconds in the middle of the room all by

himself today! Before we know it he will

be running! We love you little Monkey!!

get it once....I am not one for high fevers & I

Okay so its been a while I know...I am a horrible blogger!

Kason has 4 teeth now..2 on top & 2 on bottom...he says

Dada Dada all the time..seriously...he only says Momma

when he wants to which is not very often probably

because I am constantly urging him too! He pulls himself

up onto everything...he has stood by himself a few times

for about 2 seconds or so...he is really wanting to walk..he

practically has a permanent bruise on his forehead from

running into everything and falling on his face...even

though I try to be there to catch him, I do not always

make it in time...He had Roseola right around the same

time Camden was born...to be exact it got really bad

the Friday after Camden was born...I had to work

Saturday morning and Kason had been running a fever

for a few days (started Thursday) I thought it was from

teething but then Friday night he threw up all over me

around 3 am or so...Mom was @ Benji & Kyla's helping

with the new arrival...I called her frantic because his

temperature was 103.5...I also called the doctor on call

which said he was okay it was probably a viral infection

and to use Tylenol or Motrin to keep the fever under

control...well Mom came over soon after I called her &

took care of Kason so I could sleep a little before having

to go to work...Mom is a life saver! An angel to be exact!

Within a few days his fever broke...then he got a rash all

over his body...started on his head & worked it's way

down his body...I looked up the symptoms online &

realized it was Roseola...I called the doctor again to find

out that it was going around and there was nothing that

could be done...With in a few more days he was as good as

new & Ornery as ever!!! We have a perfect little healthy

8 month old...Kason & Mommy are headed to Texas on

Friday to visit my grandparents that I haven't seen in

about 17 years....or so...give or take a few years....We

will be back the 27th...with lots of pictures and updates!

Todd & I decided to spruce up our landscaping

in the front yard today. So out with the old &

in with the new! It literally took us all day but

was very worth it. It sure feels good to sit on

our front porch now! Of course Kason helped

didn't! We may find we need to add more later on

but that can wait were tired & ready for bed!!

We are home...and I mean really home...We got back

Tuesday but stayed at Mom & Dad's for a couple

days and now were finally home!! So the pictures are

backwards something I am always great at doing!

We had a wonderful trip...We drove up to Kalispell

on Friday the 26th & went to Glacier National Park

on Saturday the 27th..Sunday & Monday we

pretty much just lounged and went to Lone Pine

Trail...we all got a cold and felt pretty icky...Monday

we headed to Cour'de Lane & stayed the night..Tuesday

we drove home...Kason did wonderful the whole time!

We went to the restaurant Cedars in Cour'de Lane which

is located on the lake...the restaurant actually floats on

the lake..we had such a great trip!

Kason crawled for the very first time today! He has been

rocking back and forth on his hands and knees for quite

some time & now he means business! We actually just

got back from Montana today. Were staying at Mom &

Dad's tonight in Weiser and well I guess Kason was

ready to show Gma & Gpa just how big he is. He will

be 7 mos on the 3rd & is just getting to be a big boy!

He will get up on his hands and knees and try to stand.

We went to visit cousin Remington Luke tonight & he

is just so darn adorable...we love him soo soo much!!

Now we are waiting for Kyla & Benji's little boy to

make his grand appearance. We are going to have

quite a few Sorenson boys & girl running around

before too long. Well were headed for bed. I will

get some pictures uploaded from our trip as soon

as we get settled in at home.

Road Trip

Kason & I are headed to Washington. We leave tonight

to drive as far as Vale, OR. Then in the morning we

leave @ 4 a.m.! I am traveling with my cousin's

Amanda & her daughter Mikayla, & Lara. We are

headed to our other cousin Rachelle's wedding which is

on Sunday. We will be headed back home Monday so its

a quick trip there and back. I will take lots of pictures

while we are gone. Kason is sooo close to crawling

its not even funny...well he goes backwards he's just

still working on the frontward motion. He reached

milestones yesterday with all sorts of new things

he does. I will keep ya all updated!

One of my very good friends dating all the way back

to Elementary School came over to see Kason

last Thursday. We loved visiting with her!

Araceli is a High School teacher & a VERY

good one at that! We don't see much of

her during the school year but as soon

as Summer hits she has lots of free time.

I think I want to be a School Nurse...

that is if they get summers off paid! I

am going to look into that!

We took Kason to the Zoo today for the first time.

He really enjoyed the Pingeons! Daddy bought

him a toy pingeon @ zootique & its a big hit!!

Kason also has a tooth now on the bottom left

side. He has been teething since he was about

3 months old so its about time it came thru.

We think it came in last Tuesday June 2nd.

Kason today you are 6 months old. You are the

most wonderful addition to our family!

I love you sooo sooo much! You have grown

and changed in so many ways since you

were born on 12/03/2008. You have gone

from 6 lbs 6 oz. to 15 lbs 7 oz. & 20 inches

to 26.75 inches...You have gone from not

being to mobile to getting up on your hands

and knees...you are so close to crawling...

but Mommy & Daddy could handle you

taking another month or so to crawl....

because we have some serious work to

do around the house to prepare for mobile

Kason....Honey we love you...& everyday

we get to spend with you is the most

precious gift we could ever have....You

are the happiest little boy too...every

morning when you wake up you are all

smiles...and giggles...and coo's...& I can't

help but smother you with tons and tons

of mommy kisses...even daddy will jump in

and give you lots and lots of daddy kisses...

I can't imagine going one day with out you..

I know some people reading this are thinking

just wait till you get a vacation away from the

kids..but your wrong...I don't ever want to

be with out my kids...well kid for now...I

say this because: I would worry to much

to have any fun anyhow...and so would Dad

because he is the BIGGEST worry wart I

have ever met...but that is only because

he loves you soooo sooo much too!

6 Month Check-Up

Kason had his 6 month check-up today. He

weighed 15 lb. 7 oz. which is 19.17%tile

& he is 26.75 in. long which is 64.65%tile.

So we pretty much have a long & lean

little boy. Which we already knew.

Doctor says he is a healthy little boy!

He just doesn't have any chub what

so ever....Todd was the same as a baby..

long & lean & full of E-N-E-R-G-Y!!!

Kason loves his johnny jump up...He is quite

the little bouncer...Kason is going to be

six months on the 3rd...I can hardly believe

6 months has almost past since we

brought this amazing boy into the world.

He has his 6 mos check-up on Monday.

I will update his %tile's...If I were to

guess I would say he weighs between

16 & 17 lbs...& he is 28 1/2 " long...well

see how close I am!

Kason is almost 6 months old already...He has his

6 mos check up on June 1st...I don't think he

weights much over 16 lbs...He is built just

like his Daddy was when he was a little cub...

Every day our little one amazes us with

something new...He is sitting up very well....

He doesn't enjoy sitting though...he is

constantly on the go...so I think we may have

a crawler soon...Daddy went hunting today

with Grandma & almost got a HUGE bear...

Unfortunately the chamber was empty &

by the time Daddy got a bullet in the chamber

that bear was yesterday's news....Better

luck next year Daddy...that is if he's lucky

enough to draw spring bear 3 yrs in a row!!

Kason & I met Daddy at Grandma & Grandpa's
last night after meeting in Council. It was late
so we decided to stay the night. Grandma
got an adorable video of Kason rolling over. He
has been rolling over since 03-22-09 & I have
yet to catch it on video. Grandma also got
some great pictures of our little Monkey!
He is getting so big so quick!! He is scooting
around and also getting up on his knees..He
just hasn't figured out how to move forward
yet...but I am sure that is very soon to come!
I am guessing we may have an early crawler!
Which means we better get our house ready
for a get-into-everything little boy!!

Kason is sick! It's the first time he has ever been sick!!

I feel helpless as his Mom. All I can do is give him

Infants Tylenol, use Baby Vapor Rub, & lots of LOVE!

We are using a Cool Mist Humidifier to help. I feel

awful when I have to suction his nose. He just

screams bloody murder as all kids do!! I had to

miss work today to be with him, & will probably miss

tomorrow as well. Hopefully he is feeling better soon!

Both cousins Keaton & Tiana are sick too so he

probably either picked it up there or at Daycare!!

I will keep you all updated!! Love the Sorenson's!

Kason ate some Rice Cereal for the first

time last night. He really enjoyed it!!

Kason will be 4 months on the 3rd. It is amazing

how quickly time passes. Kason had his 4 mos.

check-up yesterday. He is such a trooper!

Daddy came along for the appointment &

held his little boy during his shots. Kason

weighed 13.3 lbs & is 25 inches long.

Kason is 20.62%tile for weight & 86.83%tile

for length. So we have a long & lean little boy!

The pictures below are not that recent. I

took them about 3 weeks ago. He loves

his Johnny Jumper & playing in the

exercauser we borrowed from Kyla. He

also enjoys his play gym. He grabs everything

in sight and tries to eat it!! I got some rice

cereal & can't wait to see what he thinks

of it..I might throw in some baby food

peaches to make it taste extra yummy!!

I'll be sure to get some recent pictures

uploaded soon...He sure is growing fast!

He is finally out of 0-3 mos clothes

even though 3-6 is still a little big he

looks so grown up in it...

Auntie Kyla took Kason's 3 Month pictures on

March 11th. As always they turned out

AMAZING!! Kason will be 4 months on

April 3rd. He can already roll over

from tummy to back and back to tummy.

He also can climb over his boppy pillow &

laughs when he wants and smiles non-stop.

Our little bundle of joy is gettin big!

The last time we checked his weight he was

between 12 & 13 lbs and 24 " long. He

is very lean & handsome just like Daddy!!

Kason discovered that he can splash the water
while in the bath. It was soo cute I had to run
& grab the camera...Now bath time won't
be so boring for the little guy..Hopefully he

We got home late last night from a wonderful weekend in

Portland. We stayed with Ben & Mindy in thier beautiful

home. We had lots of fun visiting with family and shopping

in the BIG CITY. My mom & little sister met us at

Woodburn Company Stores on Saturday & got to see

Kason for the first time. I got to go to IKEA for the first

time...That was lots of fun too! Ben & Mindy stuffed us with

wonderful meals...just out of the oven cookies...and great

hospitality..We are happy to be home..We both missed

I finally caught him on video. Every time he starts
I run & grab the camera & he stops. He is so full
of smiles lately...I love that he is cooing & copying

Family Get together...

My Aunt Marsha & Uncle Daryl from California came to
visit last weekend. They are eventually moving to
Middleton. They bought their dream home in 07'.
It is a very spacious home that used to be a
Bed & Breakfast. We enjoyed spending time
with family all weekend. It was the first time they got
to meet Baby Kason. My Aunt Sandy, cousin Kelsey,
cousin Garrett, cousin Amanda, her daughter Mikayla,
her wonderful boyfriend Marc, gpa Harold, cousin Lara,
cousin Shondra & a bunch of dogs...like 5 total were all there
too!! So we basically had a full house!! I still need to teach
them how to play Rook...which is my absolute favorite
card game in the whole wide world!!

Our little boy is just TOO CUTE!! He melts my heart
every time I look at him. So basically I have a permanent
melted heart! I think its normal for your eyes to tear up
when admiring your child too..cuz mine do A LOT!!
Kason has starting copying facial expressions...Last
night Daddy was blowing raspberries and Kason
returned the raspberry kisses to Daddy..multiple
times!! I had to give it a whirl and my little boy
returned them to me too! I love watching him grow
and learn new things everyday. I feel so blessed
to have such an amazing family!

2 Months!!!

Kason had his 2 month check up yesterday.

He weighed in at 11 lbs. which is 38%tile &

is 23" long which is 55.61%tile. If you ask

me his is just perfect! I took some pictures

of him today playing in the bumbo &

during tummy time! He doesn't really

enjoy either exercise yet...were getting

there though!

I have not been a very good blogger lately. Kason is

getting big! He will be 8 wks on Wed. We have

been spending alot of time at Grandma & Grandpa

Sorenson's. It has been a blast! Kason already

weighs around 11 lbs. He has his 8 wk. check up

on the 29th. I finally uploaded all the pictures from

our camera so here they are!!! Enjoy!!

Kason turned 4 wks on the 31st. He weighed 8 lbs 10 oz &

22 1/4 in. He is getting big so quick. He is such a good baby.

We started using his swing just the other day & he loves it.

I had to resort to the swing in the early morning hours

to get him to go back to sleep after his feeding. So I slept

on the couch since the swing is down stairs. Todd is sick

so at least someone got a good nights rest last night.

His next Dr. Appt. is @ his 2 mos. mark. Aunt

Kyla is going to do some family pictures soon so I will

be sure and get them on here when they are complete.

Annoucements are done & I am picking them up

from Costco today & will work on getting them mailed soon.

Kyla did an AMAZING job on them!! We hope everyone

had a fabulous New Years! We relaxed at home & were

asleep before midnight. :) Keep you posted!

2 Weeks!!!

Auntie Kyla took Kason's pictures on 12-18.

He was 2 wks 1 day old. The pictures turned out amazing

-as always!! Our little monkey didn't want to fall asleep

though! After fighting his sleepiness he finally drifted off.

Since I haven't been very good at updating the blog I am

going to use this time wisely. At Kason's 2 wk appt on 12-17

he weighed 7 lbs 6 oz. He had Jaundice which is now cleared

up. We had to have him on a biliblanket over night and for

part of a day in his first week. He looked like a little

glow worm all lit up from the blanket! His next appt is at 4

wks. Were hoping he will pack on some more weight by

that appt. Happy Holidays!!

We had company over tonight. Kyla, Benji, Keaton

& Tiana brought over chinese food. Which is

my ultimate favorite! Gma Sue is

staying with us to help out with Kason! I

am so thankful for the extra help. I am still new at this!

It's amazing how much attention a little baby attracts...

I think we will keep him around for a while! One

last thing..he weighed 6 lbs 12 oz. when he was weighed this morning.
